It's a starfish!

I stole the idea from Clannad. There's a girl named Ibuki Fuko that makes some wooden sculptures that look like stars - except they're starfish. haha.

2nd drawing out of the few I have of a girl at the beach. GOTTA STOP THAT. I changed the background, but I decided it was less appropriate for the idea I had for the picture, so I changed it back.

Thanks to :iconevikted: for ideas on the first sketch.

I wish I could draw better backgrounds. ): I also wish her pose was a bit more interesting. I'm getting used to drawing people in more expressive poses, but for some reason a lot of my drawings still end up being kind of passive. ):
